My Background
About Jon
I have 20 years’ experience of working therapeutically with people across the age range. I have worked with children, young people and their families in the NHS, in Eating Disorders, and General Child and Adolescent Mental Health including Autism, (anxiety, OCD, depression, psychosis, self-harm, communication difficulties). I have also worked with adults and their families in Assertive Outreach and for the Family Interventions for Psychosis Team. Prior to this I worked in neuro-rehab (head injuries, stroke, and multiple sclerosis) as an Occupational Therapist.
As my career has developed I have become more and more interested in the relationships that people have and the potential these hold for supporting and sustaining preferred ways of living and meaningful change.
I enjoy walking, gardening and cooking
